Anyway tis was wad happen today. my grp had to go to tis restuarant in Tp, the Top Table to do our project. it was meant to be a training ground for 2 courses of students where they learn hw to serve their customers n prefer food. The ambience was really gd i had to admit, it's totally different from the usual canteen style kinda food u see in sch. However, there were too many students training there, which meant a huge deal of waiters and waitresses. It's quite bad to see them stand like 20-30 cm apart watching us dine. Anyway the food was ok.. just that asian cuisine that compromises of tis japanese rice wif salmon set. dun get me wrong, the salmon was gd, bt the rice kinda sucks big time. Guess the students screwed up big time and put too much vinegar into the rice. It tasted sour. u shld haf seen our face when we tried it. Anyway. i'll let the pictures speak n let my remaining strength flaming tis manager/tutor/in charge/i dun gif a damn who u r guy ltr.

Anyway my experience wif the tutor/in charge/manager/whoever u r was quite bad. At first i heard from my frens that went to the restuarant commented that he's very rude and show no manners at all. I had my reserves today about tis man until tis situation happened.
we were walking a long distance n finally reached the restuarant cos it's super out of the way. So after tt we had to walk this stairs up to the 2nd floor, the restuarant. When we reached, we realised there's a lift beside us. So elizabeth was joking tt hw come they had a lift n didn't let the customers used it. So i jokingly replied tt maybe we shld write it in our report. This guy/incharge then approached me and said, the lift is not always in use. so u dun haf to write it in the report and den walked away. I dunno whether it was meant to be a joke cos the sense of humor was clearly not there and he definitely wasn't smiling. Wad kind of manager talks to his customers like tt? the last time i checked, im the paying customer, not only some lowly student that looks like he knows nuts abt fine dining. Best part was, i haven't even step into the restuarant. In tis kind of situation, i would haf condemn and rejected the restuarant. Even complain to the boss if i had to. It's not me that wants to make a commotion, bt im nt one tt backs down from a fight. Perhaps we were skeptical wif our words, since we are doing a project on advertising and promotion for them, but he was very rude n i was not going to let things dwn so easily.
So wad we did were these.
1)we had 6 ppl. We decided to only order 2 sets of meal to share, since after all we had our lunch and we were juz here to do research. I guess the 'in-charge' heard abt it n refer our tutor to us. Our tutor den chided us for not ordering 1 meal each as we are here to experience the entire restuarant, while the in charge was standing somewhere behind her. I made my stand and told her, It's not tt we don't want to order, but even before i step into the restuarant, i lost my mood to eat due to the bad service that the 'in-charge' gave me. We did order drinks each too, so as to be polite. The tutor tried to convince us bt we didn't give in. So we ordered one more dish. N instead of saying out my order, i was on the fone n pointed wad i want at the menu and continue my conversation. Totally being rude i noe, bt i haf no mood to eat at all.
2) Calvin starts to drink the soup wif his fork. yes fork. =)
3) We state loudly about our comments for every dishes, n make sure the manager hears everything abt it.
"eh wah. the rice damn sour sia." portrays the disgusted face at him.
den we asked our classmates at the next table, "eh hw's the rice? baik rite?"
"eh the MIA drink machiam like zappel wif mint sia!"
"eh the pasta damn hard. hw to eat sia."
*push the dish to one another.. eh pls help me finish. torment sia*
4) We were trying veri hard n obvious that we r trying to take a foto of the emotionless 'in-charge'
It was at tis point of time when jianhao heard the 'in-charge' mumble, 'enuff is enuff'.
We knew we struck jackpot.
This is the first time i feel so disgusted at myself for being so rude in a restuarant. But only to him. we were superbly polite to the other students waitress-es and waiters, thanking them for clearing up and so forth. I bet he muz be tinking tis brats knows nth abt fine dining. But NO.. i bet we do, n haf sth more, called table manners n SOCIAL SKILLS. i even say thanks to the cleaning lady that helps me clear the table at hawker centre and coffeeshop!

After we had paid for our bill, we left the restuarant immediately, not wanting to waste another second there. The waitress-es greet us nicely as we left. Except for him and his stuck up face, still not smiling. When i walked past him, i always remember to stare and smirk, wif a hai, damn sianz and walk away.
We finally took a snapshot of his emotionless stuck up face. when i get the foto i will post it here for awhile. So u guys can noe who to avoid in the future. =)
